Hi there, for information on how to best navigate this site, please see the bottom of the page for the appropriate action steps.

Welcome

Welcome to Stress Relief! We specialize in sharing bite-sized psychological insights about stress relief. Our goal is to simplify complex psychological subjects, making them easily understandable and digestible in 3-5 minute videos. These short educational videos also include practical demonstrations of stress relief practices. Feel free to explore these topics further at your convenience. Thank you for stopping by!

Before you explore this site, I want to share that due to a severe medical condition affecting my entire body, including my brain, vision, and voice, using a computer or speaking is extremely difficult and painful for me. Hence, I rely on AI voice-overs for my educational videos.

Everything on this site was created painstakingly by me using only my mobile phone because of my bed-bound state.  The exception to this is the website design, which was lovingly created by my husband (with my design brief).

Creating all the voice-overs myself would have been preferable, but unfortunately, it’s not possible.

Thank you for understanding.

What Causes Stress

Stress is caused by several factors. One major reason is when we struggle to recognize and deal with the physical sensations of stress in our bodies. Additionally, not having clear boundaries and suppressing our emotions can also contribute to stress. Moreover, going through a traumatic event or experiencing ongoing trauma can significantly impact our stress levels. Overall, managing stress effectively involves acknowledging and processing it physically, setting boundaries, and addressing emotional issues. This enables us to  manage our stress better and lead a more centered and mindful life
